Made from the oldest and lowest yielding vines at Domaine Saint Hilaire. The wine shows a darker and denser and more vibrant purple colour than last year. This was achieved by thinning some of the larger bunches to get a more even ripening crop. These efforts also had an impact on the fruit profile. Ripe strawberries and raspberries as if freshly squashed, leap from the glass. This is unoaked fruit driven style and with its silky soft texture it’s a joy to drink with or without food.
